The Society congratulates Jim Balsdon on his recent MBE - awarded for services to the Reading community
A Berkshire farmer and former Chairman of The Newbury and District Agricultural Society has been presented with an award for services to agriculture by HRH Princess Alexandra. The Award of Honour was presented to Clem Cooper on the opening day of the South of England Show held last week at Ardingly in Sussex. Click here for more details
At the Annual Show Dinner, The President and Chairman were delighted to award The Award of Merit which is the Society's premier public award. It is a valued accolade of distinction designed to reward a meritorious and outstanding contribution to the Society, its work or its aims and objectives.
Show Chairman Simon Carter presented the award to Mrs Diana Amesbury.
