The penultimate round at The Pembrokshire Show on the 16th-18th August will decide the top riders that will be battling it out at the final phase at the Show here in September!

Shearing requires skill to shear efficiently and quickly without causing harm to sheep or shearer, they are usually shorn once a year in late spring, early summer.

- Stop the sheep overheating in the warmer weather
- Farmers sell the wool that is shorn to make clothing and materials
- A heavy fleece on a sheep makes it very hard for them to move around easily

COSSACK style tricks performed by daredevil stunt riders will be part of this year’s bumper 2011 Royal County of Berkshire Show!

Come along and meet Lady Munchington and Inky Minx at the first National Dexter Show!
We visited Felicity Wise a local Dexter Cattle breeder from Wokingham and asked her for some tips on what makes a winning Dexter. Felicity is showing two of her Dexter’s at the Show this year; half-sisters Lady Munchington and Inky Minx. Lady Munchington is a 4year old Red Dexter and she will be entering the Dry Cow class, Inky minx her half-sister is 14 months old and will be entering the heifer ..
