Andrew Balding and his wife, Anna Lisa have generously invited us to join them for a visit to Park House Stables, Kingsclere. The morning will start at 10.00am with coffee and snacks on arrival, then onto the gallops and then a look around their yard and horses. We are delighted that the popular reciprocal ticket arrangement with Newbury Racecourse continues this year the Racecourse looks forward to welcoming Members to this event.  Free admission tickets for the Premier Enclosure are available to Members of the Society for their own use.

This year at the Society we are celebrating The Land Army. As Part of our appreciation of the part they played in our nations history, this year's Summer Party is a Tea Party at our Presidents Home in Ewelme. Cost £15 per head 10 years and under Free

36 young people, Junior  members and friends from across Berkshire are invited to enjoy the Junior Countryside day  at Barn Elms Farm, Bradfield on Wednesday7th August 2013.  Six activities are on offer including  Air Rifle Shooting at Targets; Archery, Clay Pigeon shooting with Robin Dunkley of Greenfield Entertainment simulating flights of different game birds;  Falconry by Hawk the Walk including Harris Hawk, Barn Owl and Snowy Owl;  Fly Fishing by Roy Davies of Barn Elms Fly Fishery; Countryside Lore, Gun Dog Handling  award winning Black Labradors/Spaniels  retrieving dummies and a display. 

All instructors are fully qualified and insured.

A Mini Berkshire Game fair for young people age ranging from 8 – 16 years old.   The idea is to give the young people a taster of different rural pastimes.  Everybody always has a great day and some go home with trout to put on the BBQ at home.
